The Heart Behind Behind Beautiful Miracles

Before I ever supported another mom through labor and postpartum, I was a mom figuring it out for myself.

I knew what it felt like to have questions. To wonder if I was prepared. To experience the excitement and uncertainty that comes with bringing a baby into this world.

And I learned something that stayed with me long after my own births: Support matters.

Not because mothers aren’t strong enough to do it on their own. We are.

But because we were never meant to walk through such a life-changing experience without support.

That’s where my story began.

My journey to becoming a doula wasn’t something I planned from the beginning. It grew out of my own experiences as a mother and the realization that I wanted to help other women feel supported during their most vulnerable moments.

Eventually that desire became Beautiful Miracles Doula Services.

Today I have the privilege of walking alongside families during some of the most important moments of their lives- it’s something I’ll never take for granted.

My faith is an important part of who I am and how I serve families. I believe every baby is a gift from God, and that every mother deserves to be surrounded by grace, strength and encouragement as she welcomes her baby. For families that desire it, I’m happy to incorporate prayer and Scripture into their birth experience.

More than anything, I want my clients to know that their birth is theirs.

I’m not here to tell you what your birth should look like. I’m here to listen, encourage, educate and support you through whatever your journey may bring.

Because birth doesn’t always go according to plan and that’s okay. What matters is that you feel supported and cared for along the way. That is the heart behind Beautiful Miracles Doula Services.
